The cuberdon’s origins date back to 1873, when pharmacist De Vynck from Ghent created it as a way to preserve medicinal syrups. Over the 20th century, the cuberdon evolved into an iconic Belgian sweet, thanks in part to renowned Ghent confectioners like Temmerman. Since 1904, we have proudly shared this treat with the world, staying true to the original recipe and signature shape.
